On September 10, 2011 the permanent Flight 93 National Memorial was dedicated and opened to the public. The National Park Service
(NPS) was assigned as the lead agency, you can find additional construction information, pictures of the memorial site, details for visiting

Completed features include the New Entrance, Approach Road and Ring Road and The Memorial Plaza at the Crash Site that consists of
several features; Visitor Shelter and Arrival Court, Memorial Plaza Hemlock Grove and Impact Site, Wall of Names and Flight Path.The Memorial Plaza contains long sloping black precast concrete walls that mark the northern edge of the larger crash site and debris field.
Benches offer places of rest and contemplation. Visitors can leave tributes in small niches in the wall. As they make their way to the Wall
of Names, the Memorial Plaza Walkway is created with Bomanite Revealed, installed by Bomanite Licensee, Bomanite Central
Pennsylvania to complement the 45 degree angled walls.
