Bomanite Licensee, Texas Bomanite worked many hours when they took on a large decorative component of the municipal intersection of Belt Line Road and MacArthur Boulevard in Coppell, Texas. Since it’s a major intersection, avoiding traffic congestion due to road construction was of utmost priority and construction was expected to take at least 30 days. Various lanes of traffic were shut down while Texas Bomanite reconstructed and replaced the brick paving intersection with decorative stamped concrete. Texas Bomanite poured 200+ cubic yards of concrete in a single day using 3 crews working on 3 different areas of the intersection simultaneously to keep the project moving and completed in 11 days. A Star design was created using the Bomanite Running Bond Used Brick Pattern and saw cuts along with several Color Hardeners and Release Agents to create the red and gray pop of color.
